2026 Zoo and Wildlife Health Conference

ZWHC 2026 - A hybrid conference!

 

The 2026 Zoo and Wildlife Health Conference will be held as a hybrid (in person and online) event in  Dublin, Ireland, from 10 through 13 June 2026. We are proud to partner with Dublin Zoo to bring you  an outstanding conference program and networking and social events.  

Registration will be available for:

  • in person participation (workshops, and conference). Full registration includes meals, and  selected social events check the schedule for details!

  • virtual attendance (selected workshops, conference and posters). Virtual attendees can follow  the conference live through streaming and interact in the live Q&A, or watch it on demand  online  up to two weeks after the session. NOTE! to earn CE credits, virtual attendees will need  to take and pass quizzes for each conference day.

The online conference will be available during the conference and for two weeks through the conference app for ALL registrants.

Registration

Registration for in person and virtual attendance to the ZWHC will open on 08 December 2025. Discounted early bird registration will be available until March 15th 2026.

The programme for the Zoo and Wildlife Health Conference 2026 will consist of workshops on Wednesday 10th June, followed by Scientific Sessions (plenary lectures and participants' submissions) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning.

About 100 scientific submissions presented orally or as posters by conference attendees, and three plenary lectures make up the scientific programme. Stay tuned to find out more as our SPC is preparing the programme.

Social Programme

Networking and getting together with colleagues, and visiting with exhibitors is an important part of the conference. There will be plenty of opportunities for in person registrants to network, visit exhibitors and participate in the additional activities we have scheduled for each day of the conference:

  • Wednesday: Icebreaker

  • Thursday: Student mentor mixer, Poster Party, Students night out 

  • Friday: Festive evening

  • Saturday: Afternoon at Dublin Zoo followed by closing dinner @ The Guinness Storehouse.
