2026 Student Membership & Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine Submission Fee Grants

Applications are now open and will close on Sunday the 23rd of November 2025. 

The EAZWV Student Section looks forward to receiving your submissions by the 23rd of November 2025. Follow the application link to register your interest in funding for 2026 EAZWV student membership or for a JZWM submission: https://www.eazwv.org/surveys/?id=2141453.

The EAZWV Student Membership Grants were created to help European under- and postgraduate students that are truly dedicated to zoological medicine, but don't possess enough financial means to access the benefits that EAZWV provides. Anyone meeting the EAZWV student membership criteria can apply for the EAZWV Student Membership grant. The purpose of this grant is to provide full or partial coverage of next years' membership fee.

Only current EAZWV Student Members may apply for the JZWM Article Submission Grant. This grant covers the article submission fees of an article to the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine. Grant recipients are required to submit their study for presentation at ZWH Conference and produce a summary of their study for the EAZWV newsletter and/or website. ZWHC Student Registration Grants

Applications are now closed for the 2025 Conference Registration Grant for EAZWV Student Members

This year we’re distributing three full in-person grants and one grant for virtual attendance to the ZWHC 2025 Conference in Gyor, Hungary on the 14-17th of May. The applications will open on the 3rd of January at 10am (03/01/2025, 10:00 CET) and close on the 10th of January at 10am (10/01/2025, 10:00 CET).

EAZWV Student Summer School / Workshop Grants

Applications for the 2024 grants are now closed.

You can apply for a grant (50% or 100% fee discount) for the 2024 Student Summer Workshop on Zoo & Wildlife Immobilisation when you submit your expression of interest to attend the workshop. Please carefully consider if you’re truly in need of a grant – those who apply for a grant but are NOT selected to receive one will be excluded from the regular application process!
