Paula Yagüez completed her undergraduate studies some time ago but has returned to university to finally pursue her dream career. She is finishing her Vet MSc in Conservation Medicine and hopes to continue her research through a PhD. Her main interests lie in human-wildlife conflict and clinical pathology applied to exotic and wildlife species. Her research so far has focused on parasitology in European hedgehogs (Erinaceus europaeus) and its relationship with their survival during the rehabilitation process, as well as haematology in red kites (Milvus milvus). Additionally, she has a creative streak, which she hopes to utilize for the benefit of the association.
