EAZWV Sections and Working Groups

Zoo and Wildlife Vets Across Europe United!

EAZWV has a number of sections. These can either be regional groups (e.g. the German speaking and Francophone sections) - or constituent groups (e.g. the Student section) - the unifying factor being that they are all aligned with EAZWV's aims and objectives. These affiliated groups are generally managed independently and most have their own publications, conferences and activities reflecting the specialist needs and interests of their members. They operate in the local language of their region and have good local networks with relevant stakeholders. EAZWV provides and opportunity for sections to combine forces, share experiences and resources. Together we can increase our impact both locally and regionally: helping vets help wildlife.

EAZWV welcomes the formation of new sections (we are keen to have representative cover from all over the continent).To become and EAZWV section, a group must have aims and objectives aligned with those of EAZWV and have a minimum of 10 current EAZWV members. Each section shall be represented on the EAZWV Advisory Board and provide regular reports on their events and activities to the EAZWV board and membershipFor more information on becoming a section click here.

EAZWV Working Groups are set up by the Board to further the strategic aims of the Association. EAZWV members are encouraged to get involved in working groups - helping their fellow vets to help wildlife!
