Wildlife Research and Conservation 2019 (WRC2019) aims to foster an exchange of ideas between wildlife scientists from different disciplines. We welcome contributions to the following topics: Life-history and Phenotypic plasticity, Social behaviour/Mating systems, Hormones & Behaviour, Conservation Genetics and Conservation. In addition, renowned external scientists will organise sessions and hands-on workshops, providing new perspectives on topics such as capture-mark-recapture methods, movement ecology, assisted reproduction techniques, and ethical questions linked to fieldwork projects and management interventions.

WRC2019 is jointly organised by the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research (Leibniz-IZW), the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) and WWF Germany; it is the successor of the International Conference on Behaviour, Physiology and Genetics of Wildlife. WRC2019 will start on Monday, September 30th, 2019 and will continue until Wednesday, October 2nd, concluding with the conference dinner. We will also offer several exciting excursions in and near Berlin on Thursday, October 3rd!

We look forward to welcoming you in Berlin!

Sarah Benhaiem, Anne Berger, Oliver Höner, Conny Landgraf, Josepha Prügel and Viktoriia Radchuk
